Co-founder & CEO
Meet Olivia Saha, the co-founder & CEO of Shinaraa. With a passion for both fashion and sustainability, Olivia embarked on a mission to revolutionize the women's apparel industry by creating a brand that not only prioritizes style and quality but also environmental and social responsibility.
Drawing inspiration from her family background in textile technology and her love for design, Olivia established Shinaraa with a clear vision to redefine fashion by incorporating eco-friendly materials, ethical production practices, and fair labour standards. Her commitment to sustainability shines through in every aspect of the brand, from sourcing organic fabrics and natural dyes to creating timeless pieces that embodies elegance and craftsmanship.

Arnab Neogi
Co-founder & COO
Arnab Neogi is the co-founder & COO of Shinaraa, that seamlessly marries elegance with environmental consciousness. With over two decades of experience in general management across various sectors, Arnab has cultivated a profound understanding of the fashion industry and a deep commitment to sustainability.
After earning his degree in Business Administration, Arnab embarked on a remarkable career that spanned multiple roles in product marketing, business development and strategic planning. Throughout his journey, he worked with renowned brands, where he honed his skills in creating high-quality products while navigating the complexities of the global market.
He undertook Executive MBA in general management from Harvard. At Harvard, his fellow classmates encouraged him to take the idea of Shinaraa forward which was a fledgling concept at that time. Driven by a passion for ethical fashion, Arnab launched Shinaraa with the mission to redefine luxury by prioritizing sustainability at every stage of the production process. Under his leadership, Shinaraa has become synonymous with exquisite craftsmanship, innovative design, and a commitment to eco-friendly practices.

Carina Roca
Head of Design
Spanish-born Sustainable Fashion Designer Carina Roca is a dedicated advocate for the transformative potential of fashion in fostering positive societal change. With a strong commitment to imbuing design with meaning and feminism, she holds a profound passion for sustainability within the fashion industry. Specializing in design strategies aimed at minimizing textile waste and emphasizing garment longevity, this dedication is evident in her work at Shinaraa.
Her achievements include being recognized as a runner-up in the esteemed ‘Redress Design Awards’ in 2019, the world’s largest sustainable fashion design competition for emerging designers.
Carina’s educational journey includes a Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, a Master’s in Creative Direction and Advanced Pattern Making, and a second Master’s degree in Fashion and Design Industry Management.
This combination of creativity, technical expertise, and sustainable fashion knowledge is essential to ensuring the success and growth of the brand.

Sustainability
A pressing topic that concerns and impacts us all today. We exclusively utilize organic, high-quality materials from traceable Indian sources. However, we acknowledge that sustainability in fashion is a long-term commitment that goes beyond focusing solely on fabrics and materials. As a result, we address every facet of the process, placing particular emphasis on the design phase, where we believe up to 80% of waste can be mitigated. Sustainability is an ongoing process that does not conclude with the sale of our garments. Explore the science-approved rationale behind these choices and understand how they directly contribute to sustainability.
Co-Creation
Collaborations and cross-disciplinary approach between fashion designers, scientists, engineers, and other experts helps Shinaraa foster innovative and sustainable solutions. By combining different areas of expertise, designers explore new ways of creating garments, integrating technology, and implementing sustainable practices. It is a harmonious amalgamation of diverse fields of study, culture, ideas coming together to create a magical experience – science and art, east and west, modern and classic, past and future.
